Difference between Push ups and Bench Press?!


Question: Difference between Push ups and Bench Press!?
Hey! I want to know that both Push ups and Bench Press are giving the same effect to my body or they are different!.


According to you which one is better for fast results


And also separately tell the difference between Bench Press and Incline Bench Press!.

Progressive overload is one of the key principles in physical development!. With weights it is very easy to regularly increase the resistance of exercises and therefore they are more effective than body weight exercises!.

Bench press and push ups work the pecs, shoulders, and triceps!. Bench press focus more on the pecs, push ups more on the shoulders!.

Inclined bench works the same muscles but from an angle that is likely to have better carryover value to most sports!. You will see many strength programs for athletes now include inclined bench work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I will add in!. An ideal guy should be easily able to bench press his body weight!. with a push up you wont be able to do that!. Also you can unknowingly cheat in a push up!. but free hand exercises normally help you to devlop your stabiliser muscles!. On a smith machine bench presses are a little safer but there is a danger of injury as your arms are not free to move or adjust to any unequalities!. I prefer a smith machine bench press as I can progressively overload my workouts and get stronger and dont reach a plateu!. Whatever exerciese for weight training it is important you give a minimum 48hrs rest to the exercised muscle group!. Stack up your diet with lots of protiens!. And good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

push ups is when u lie on ur chest and push ur body up and down using ur arms!.
bench press is when u lie on ur back and u push a weight bar up and down!.
push ups is better for ur arm power and does not decrease ur speed or flexibility,unlike bench press it gives u a fast bulk on ur muscles but if u leave doing it for 3days then all the muscles are gone!.
and bench press will decrease ur speed and flexibilty to almost nil!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
