Question: I need to lose 60 lbs and I am beginner in exercising and don't know where to start!.!.!?
I need all the help I can get!.!. and I am ready to take it slowly!. I am also very dedicated because this could really change my life so please help me as you will be helping someone change their lives! I'll take tips for exercising, motivation from people who've been there, advice from professionals- anything at all!. I really cannot afford a gym membership but I have access to a free gym at my school!. I cannot afford any weight loss programs either!.!.!.I'm also interested in natural weight loss methods!.!.!.so PLEASE help!! GOOD FOR YOU!. please dont take dietary pills!. they do not work, and often can have the opposite affect!. the only thing that you will really see results is running!. treadmill, track, anywhere will work!. and you can start with a jog and gradually work your way up!. whatever you do though, you must run for at least 25 minutes!. it takes 20 minutes just to get your heart to prime rate, and to start burning fat calories!. i lost a lot of weight last year, because i stuck with running, and changed my diet so that i was not cutting out all the bad stuff, but eating it in moderation!.

a side note: if you dont see anything changing right away, dont freak out!. you most likely are losing weight, but you just cant see it yourself!. just make a promise that you will stick to it, like i did!.

also if you need inspiration, make an Inspiration Board of your goals, and put it in a place you will see it frequently!.

For weight loss, there's two ways you could go and I think either way will work for you!. First of all, my best suggestion is to learn to eat healthy!.

That means understand the food pyramid, the food groups, the recommended servings, etc!. That is how you should eat for life! If you eat that way and have 3 small, healthy meals a day and 2 small, healthy snacks, you will lose weight!. Each meal should be less than 400 calories and each snack should be about 100-150 calories!. Eating highly nutritious foods is the key, so think in terms of lean protein, veggies, whole-grains, fruits, low-fat dairy, and heart-healthy oils!.

The second option is to do a short-term "drastic diet" that is designed to last for 2 weeks max!. This would take off the most weight rapidly!. There are several on the site under "Diet Plans" but my favorite is the 5-4-3-2-1 diet!.

You get to pick what you eat, but you're going to want to pick highly nutritious foods to keep your metabolism working efficiently!.
