Is the type of energy burned reflective of types of food eaten?!

Question: Is the type of energy burned reflective of types of food eaten!?
to what extent is the kind of energy burned reflective of the kind of food I eat!?
ex: if I eat 500 calories of Ice Cream, and go out and burn 1000 calories by running (lets say I am running a 8:00 minute mile until I burn 1000 calories), will the percent of total fat calories burned be greater than if I say, beforehand eat 500 calories of spaghetti!?

If my guess is correct, then!.!.!.
1!. to what extent is this true
2!. is this a safe way to lose body fat!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
The answer here is simple!. Ice cream is made out of milk and two types of simple sugars; lactose and sucrose!. both process quickly but have strong insulin responses!. On the other hand the spaghetti which is a complex carb processes slower because the meat sauce which has protein in it slows the carbohydrate conversion process!. But the amount of fat burned in determined by how much sugar is in your blood!. the body is going to process the carbs first so you will defeat your purpose if you consume large amounts of carbs before exercising!.
