Question: I have a bicep size question!? Help me!?
i am 14 and i lift weights!. Soon to go into bodybuilding!. But, i have a question i am about 5' 4'' and my biceps are 15 and a half inches diameter!. Is this big, cuz when i look in da mirror they are big and my friend says they are huge when i flex!. But, when i look at my biceps without using a mirror they look kind of small!. because you are seeing them at a low angle of incidence, and the shape doesn't appear as prominent!. Try holding a ruler or a similar object out directly in front of you!. Keeping your hand at the same position tilt the ruler forward about 45 degrees!. Looks smaller don't it!. This is just the way the human eye behaves, and its judgment may not be able to process size well!. Many optical illusions play tricks on the eye in the same way, so don't worry, your perception is not the same as everybody else!.
Your friends see you as a horizontally inverted image to what you see in the mirror!. That's exactly the same as you see it, except what appears to be your left in the mirror is actually your right!.
Its not an illness, a self esteem isue or an eyesight problem, its just the way humans process images in the brain!.
BTW, you beat me by 1!.5 inches, and your about 1!.5 years younger!.!.!.
ps!. watch you arent stunting your growth there either!. I try to only use dumbells below 12kg each and machines below 45kg!. Heavy weights can stunt your growth plates, and at 5'4" you probabaly have more growing to do!.

well i'm 5' 1 1/2 and my biceps are nearly 11 inches diameter but i'm a girl tho i've been doing gymnastics for 8 years and i'm 15
