Question: Is it normal to fluctuate 6 pounds within a day or two!? !?
i am 5!.6 and 26 years old!. my weight is 151-158 pounds !. i lost over 20pounds over the last year and i held my weight at 151 for 4 months!. i started watching my weight since sept 07 and my starting weight was 174!. now the last two weeks my weight is going up and down an average of 6 pounds!. my question is, is it normal to fluctuate that much within a day or 2 !? i didn't had that the whole time i was losing weight!. i had maybe 2-3 pounds max!. but 6 seems A lot!. i wanted to hold my weight for a couple months before i lose more!. so i don't bounce back!. and i love to eat!. so its a little hard on me anyways lol!. but i would like to lose another 10 pounds in 3 months!. any suggestions!? since i dropped down to 151 its hard !. i feel like i am stuck at that weight!. 6 pounds might be a little larger than average fluctuation, but I'd say it's still within normal limits!. I know numerous people who can "bobble" 5 pounds in a day, just between morning and evening!. When you're maintaining a healthy weight, your weight is not a single static number, but tends to cycle regularly!. It looks kind of like a sine wave, if you remember your high school trigonometry!. If you're weighing yourself daily, or worse, more than once a day, you can spend too much time freaking out about those bobbles!. Don't!. They're perfectly normal!. I bobble within about a 3-pound range!.

As far as losing 10 more pounds, you're within the range of recommended healthy weights for your height!. It may be that this is just a good weight for your body!. But if you want to lose 10 more, I'd suggest you change what you're doing!. Change how you eat, change how you exercise!. You don't necessarily have to eat less or exercise more, just try something different!.

I lost 30 pounds with Weight Watchers and have kept it off for a year!. I think it's a really great program that is truly different from other diets and I highly recommend it if you find you just can't get rid of those last 10 pounds on your own!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
