Anyone who says that tea doesn't count should be voluntarily dehydrated and be given a glass of ice tea on hand!. I will give them $1,000 if they refuse to drink the ice tea, which is like 95% water!.

The answer is yes, of course the tea counts!. Almost everything we drink (and some of the food we eat) is mostly made up of water, and that includes, milk, juice, coffee, tea, wine and beer!. Some of those drinks do have other chemicals, like caffeine and alcohol, that detract from the goal of hydrating yourself!. And some have a diuretic effect, encouraging you to urinate and lose water!. Also, some have nutrients and calories!.

But just about any potable liquid except hard liquor is going to add to your NET water level and help keep you hydrated!. It may be better for you to drink pure water, but you don't have to drink ANY pure water to keep properly hydrated!. Anyone who says differently is mistaken!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes it is, new information out recently said that this is the same as your daily intake for water now!. It's best to drink water, but even any type of pop is now looked at in the daily water intake scenario!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO, it doesn't count, tea is a natural dieuretic and will rob you of as much water as you drink of tea!. Water is water, end of story!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. Just because its made with water doesn't make it count as your water intake!. When they say it, they mean 8 glasses of plain old water!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

No it isn't!.!.!.!. To get your daily water needs!.!.!. you only need to drink water!. Nothing in it!. Just pure water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I consider anything with liquid in it part of my intake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
