Question: Does coffee have an effect on my athletic ability!?
i play soccer and im also in Weight training, if i drink a cup of black coffee every morning will it affect how well i play!?what if on some days i dont drink coffee will it affect me!?do any Professional athletes drink coffee!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you feel fine, you're fine, if you aren't adding sugar to it, then your double fine!. It's more psychological, coffee would make me tired for the second half of my day!. That's just me, though!.

I don't think so!. Coffee is made from the coffee bean, like tea from leaves!. Caffiene in moderation is said to be good for many things including energy ane even memory!. Studies show it helps with preventing alzeimers!. I think the reason people question it, is because of hydration reasons!. So just make sure your well hydrated with lots of water or sugar-free koolaid, lol!. I used to hear about stunting your growth, but I think thats an old wise tale!. I think maybe people used to think that because you'd be getting your energy from caffiene, instead of important nutrients from food, and nutrients are important for proper growth!.
Also if you drink too much, especially at night, you wont be able to sleep and that will in turn, affect your performance!.
But your only having one cup in the morning, no problem there and I think it will actually help you!.
