Answers:
Protein is good and essential for muscle repair!. When you exercise you actually tear your muscle fibers and protein is needed for recovery!. When the fibers heal they actually grow!. During this process, in simplest terms, protein is essential for healing your muscle fibers!. Protein powders or supplements usually do not contain enough carbohydrates for protein to be properly absorbed into the body and utilized!. A ratio of 4:1 of carbs to protein is adequate for proper recovery!.

The reason you are probably hearing that protein may not be good is that it may not be good for your particular goal of losing weight!. Protein is good and essential like I said before!. To lose weight, however, you should just consume less calories than you are burning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Protein is good for you when you weight lift (or work out) but not as excellent for you as some experts thought a few decades ago!. But it still is quite necessary!. You could take a protein supplement but you could also get protein the natural way by eating foods that are filled with it!. Often, meat and fish and eggs are a good source of protein!. The most important thing of all though for a weight lifter (or if you workout by doing cardio) is to eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, drink plenty of water, and give your body the proper time to rest between workouts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Protein Shakes aren't good for you because they are packed with calories!.

-Proteins are the basic units of the body which are required for nutrition, growth and repair, and affect a huge number of metabolic, enzyme and chemical processes that occur inside the body!. Fortunately, protein deficiency is extremely rare in the West, but very-low-energy-diets (VLEDs) or unbalanced vegetarian eating plans may be too low in protein and may require supplementation!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Protein is necessary for life, but supplements are not!.

There's no quick and easy way!. If there was, everybody would know about it and use it, and the inventor would be rich!.

Avoid fasts, fad diets, crash diets, diet pills, internet bargains and the like!. They won't help you, and could very well hurt you!.

Weight loss is achieved when you burn more calories than you consume!.!.!. so if you eat less and sit around, you won't lose weight!.

You need a combination of healthy diet and reasonable exercise to stay in shape!.

And there's no such thing as "permanently" You can always gain weight back by tilting the equation the other way!. If you want to keep weight off, you need to keep eating healthy and exercising!.

High protein, low fat, minimal good carbohydrates, and sugar-free liquids to keep you from getting dehydrated!.

There are plenty of good nutrition sites on the web that can help you!.

Good luck!.
