If a yogurt/drink had 300 cals and a piece of food had 300 cals?!

Question: If a yogurt/drink had 300 cals and a piece of food had 300 cals!?
since yogurt/drink is liquid, would this get burned up quicker!?
would you lose weight better if your calorie intake was in liquid form instead of foody form!?

its been puzzling me for a while now =[ but some smoothies and drinks have as much calories as a meal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
300kcals is 300kcals!. Doesn't make a difference if it's solid of liquid!.

If you're cutting down on calories, why not have Ski yoghurt instead of Activia!? They're only 68 per pot!.

Liquids are more quickly and easily digested, which makes things like the sugars more rapidly available to you!. That's good for medicines sometimes, but not so good if you are talking sugar!. Liquid tends to fill you belly faster, but will also leave you feeling empty faster because it is so quickly digested and absorbed!. So in the long run, you'd likely end up gaining because you'd always be hungry!. In terms of equality of calories, they are still the same whether it was in liquid or solid form!. For the purposes of dieting though, soup has always been a dieter's friend!. You can have a cup of soup at the start of a meal and fill some of the empty space so you don't eat as much total!. I'm talking about primarily broth based soups, not the cream of kind- though those too can be friendly when made with low or no fat milk!. It is possible to lose weight on an all liquid diet, but I'm afraid those smoothies are not included!. They provide way too many sugars and not nearly enough nutrition!. There are liquid meal replacements sold, which you drink to replace two meals per day usually!. The drawback of course is still that empty belly in an hour or so, and you need quite a bit of self control to resist filling it!. You can even gain weight on a liquid diet, as the nutritional drinks like Ensure are rather high calorie and formulated to help people at least maintain weight at times when perhaps they physically can't eat solids- like after extensive facial surgery!. But from my experience they leave a lot to be desired in the taste department!. For that matter, so do the diet drinks!. At any rate, while you could lose, maintain or gain on an all liquid diet- it's not easy and it's not ideal!. You do have teeth for a reason, after all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends!. liquid is generally absorbed faster than solid food, but if the liquid has fiber (like from blended fruit) it will be slower!. if it is sugary and artificial it will be burned faster!. similarly, if the solid food is made of whole grains with fiber it will be slower, but if it is processed and sugary it will be faster!. fat also tends to slow things down, but not in a positive way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

300 calories is 300 calories, but it does depend on what the 300 calories are!. some things do take longer to break down!.!.!.like protein takes longer to break down than carbs and fats!. i think it goes carbs, fats, protein!. it shouldn't make a difference if it was liquid or solid!.!.!.if it did, i would intake everything by gas!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope, calories are calories!.!.!.the liquid food will be digest quicker!. Remember it's not about the food, but instead about what nutrients/calories make up the food!Www@Answer-Health@Com

300 calories is 300 calories!.you have to burn it still & it's still the same solid or liquid!.
