Gym noob has questions?!


Question: Gym noob has questions!?
Hi I recently joined a gym an I am wondering if anyone could give me a good idea how long it's best to spend on the running/cycling machines and also on the weight machines when you are starting out!. I am 19 years old btw if u needed to know that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Do whatever is best for you!. When I first went to the gym I started out by running a mile on the treadmill, 15 mins on the stair things, 25 mins on the bike machine thing, another 15 mins on that other thingy thing, then Id go and lift weights and then do about 100-200 situps and like 3 pushups [lol]!.!. I cant do pushups!. But really do whatever you feel comfortable with and as time goes by you will progress with your exercises and be able to do them for longer periods of time!.
*I'd also walk to and from the gym which counts as more exercise!.!. but my gym was only about 3/4 a mile away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I've always found that short sesssions more frequently are best for me!.

I will go like 3-4 times a week!.,

Start out 15 minutes cardio (anything cardio that gets your heart above about 140 bpms)!. After cardio, move on to about 30 minutes of weight training!.

You'll gradually want to increase your cardio as time goes by!. Also, when lifting weights, focus on a certain area one day, say legs, and a different area the next!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
