Question: How do you lose 40 pounds!?
I want to lose 40 pounds over the next 6 months!. 5'11 male!. 242 pounds!. Whats a good diet and schedule!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have to make changes little by little!. It might take you a little more than 6 months!.
Any rapid diet does not work in helping you keep the weight away permanently!.
A small change you can make on day 1 is to walk more!.
You definitely need an exercise plan and I would start with walking every day for at least 30 minutes!.(this can be done in 15 minutes increments)
Next you need to drop sodas if you drink them!. Start drinking water!. Water will help you drop pounds and will make sure you flush any toxics out of your system!. You should drink at least 8 glasses of water (8oz) every day!. If you can drink a little more is OK but don't over do it!.
Another change is to use fruits and vegetables for snack instead of chips and other snacks!.
Do not use fried foods at all!.
Eat salads and or vegetables every day!.
Substitute fish or chicken instead of red meat whenever you can!.
Start a regular exercise plan that includes aerobics, strength training and weights!.
Change your exercise routine every week or so and your body will keep burning more calories because it will need to change the way it adjusts!.
Keep active, active, active!.
Eat less of greasy foods and eat more veggies and fruits because they are more filling and they have fiber!.
Start eating one lowfat yogurt a day as a snack!.
Use skim milk instead of others!.
Use lemon juice for your salad instead of dressing!.
