Question: Question about body after weigh loss!?
ok i know when u lose 5 or 10 pounds that ur body wont have much of a difference on the way ur body handles it!.

but i have a friend who started a diet and work out regimen about 4 months or so ago!.
she is 5'6 and weighed 350lbs
im glad she decided to get healthy but my question is when she gets to her perfect size will she have alot of loose skin!?
because i dont see her in person she lives in FL and i live in CA
i dont want to ask her if she has loose skin because i think that seems kinda rude!. but the reason why im asking is because i want to lose weight but im scared ill have loose skin!.

she told me she now weighs 180lbs
and ive seen pics of her body but with clothes on and she looks fine but idk how it looks underneath!.

does everyones body handle weight loss differently!?
or losing a signicant amount of weight make u have loose skin no matter what!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, everyone handles weight loss differently!. The amount of loose skin depends on many things, but especially age, weight, exercise, whether or you not you were a yo-yo dieter, etc!.

When you lose less than 100 pounds, it probably won't be a big problem!. I lost 85 pounds on Weight Watchers five years ago and it wasn't a problem!. My girlfriend recently lost 110 pounds with gastric bypass and it's only a slight problem that I'm certain will go away as she exercises more!.

Obviously the more you lose, the more problem it will be, but people who exercise diligently and intensely (at least 30 minutes a day and 60 is better) while they are dieting and after they reach their goal weight, will have far fewer problems!.

How you lose the weight matters too!. If you go on a drastic, unhealthy diet then you won't look as good after you reach goal as someone who ate healthy foods in healthy amounts!. The major food groups are absolutely necessary to get all the vitamins and minerals that your body (and your skin) needs to function properly!.

I think you could ask your friend without being rude!. I think you could say, "I'm interested in dieting too but I'm worried about loose skin!. Has that been a problem for you!?"

Aside from joining Weight Watchers, which is your best bet if you have a lot of weigh to lose, here are my weight loss suggestions:
!. First of all, my best suggestion is to learn to eat healthy!.
http://www!.easy-weightloss-tips!.com/eat-!.!.!.
That means understand the food pyramid, the food groups, the recommended servings, etc!. That is how you should eat for life! If you eat that way and have 3 small, healthy meals a day and 2 small, healthy snacks, you will lose weight!. Each meal should be less than 400 calories and each snack should be about 100-150 calories!. Eating highly nutritious foods is the key, so think in terms of lean protein, veggies, whole-grains, fruits, low-fat dairy, and heart-healthy oils!.

The second option is to do a short-term "drastic diet" that is designed to last for 2 weeks max!. This would take off the most weight rapidly!. There are several on the site under "Diet Plans" but my favorite is the 5-4-3-2-1 diet!.
http://www!.easy-weightloss-tips!.com/5-4-!.!.!.
You get to pick what you eat, but you're going to want to pick highly nutritious foods to keep your metabolism working efficiently!. Again, the "eat healthy" page can help you determine what highly nutritious foods are, if you need help with that!. If you go on the short-term diet, then once it's over, follow the guidelines on the "eat healthy" page!.

Make water your main source of hydration and save the sweet drinks (even diet) for special occasions!. Eliminate as much salt and sugar from your diet as you can!.

The biggest component to fast weight loss is going to be your workout!. You will want to make sure you do a good (30 minute minimum) cardio workout every day for weight loss (3 times a week is sufficient to maintain health)!. Activities that use the large leg muscles burn the most calories!. These activities also tone the lower body quite effectively!. Think in terms of
power walking, jogging, biking, skating, swimming laps, jumping rope, dancing, racquetball, and jumping jacks!. To make sure that you're burning fat, you need to be sweating and huffing and puffing!. In addition, do some good stretches and some strength training!.

I think it depends really!.!.because my sister weighed about 250 and now shes 120 and she looks great she has stretch marks here and there but its regualar its not something that will make oyu blind

and why do you care how she looks underneath anyways!?

Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you lose a significant amount of weight, you will probably have stretch marks!.

For example, after a mother births her baby, she has stomach stretch marks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wooooooah, she is rally motivated!. 150 pounds or something in 4 months!? Did she even it!. Good for her!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

So you'd rather be fat with nice tight skin than thin and healthy with loose skin!?

I'd say loose skin is the least of your worries however if you're young, you skin will tighten up considerably!. The sooner you start the better!.
Consider women who have babies and their stomach gets majorly stretched out!. It snaps back pretty fast!. However if you keep stretching it again and again it will eventually lose some elasticity!.
And you are right, some people handle the stresses better than others!. Eat a balanced diet that will feed your body and exercise!. Don't starve yourself to loose weight and deprive you body of the building blocks it needs to be healthy!.
I didn't mean to make fun of you but seriously, worrying about having loose skin is a bad reason to avoid losing weight!. You've only got one body!. Take care of it and it will serve you well!.
I'm glad to hear your friend is doing so well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well to be honest with u it really depends on genetics!. some people are born big and some are born small!. as far as having loose skin, that depends on the way u lose weight!. if u do liposuction then more than likely ur going to have loose skin!. if u exercise with diet, then the possibilities of having loose skin would be slim to none!. loose skin comes mostly from losing like 300 or 400 pounds but if ur trying to lose like 30 or 40 pounds then u wont have loose skin!. if u want to lose weight its cool, but u gotta know how u handle it!. for example, the best way to lose weight is running!. but if run and still eat a lot of fat, sugar, and too many carbs, then ur not gonna change at all!. also, DO NOT starve ur self because u will regain that weight u lost in double! what u need to do is eat big and more often, meaning that u should make ur meals instead of 3 a day to 5-6 meals a day!.that way ur metabolism goes high!. starving ur self will only slow ur metabolism and u will be craving sweets too much!. so do about 20 min run 3 times a week and if u wanna throw in some weights then go for it but do light wieghts and high reps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
