The best type of training for weight loss or more specifically fat loss are as follows:

1- High intensity interval training
2- Weight/resistance training
3- General cardiovascular exercise, such as running, swimming, squash etc!.

Ideally you should combine ALL 3 of the above into your training program!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The only way to lose weight is to use more calories than you consume therefore creating a "calorie deficit"!. It doesn't matter that much what exercise you do in order to burn off the calories!.

The best way, in my opinion, is to combine cardio-vascular exercise with a low fat diet containing lots of lean meats and fruit and veg!.

Vary the exercise so that you don't get bored, make sure that you are also doing some weight lifting, as a higher proportion of muscle will increase your metabolism perpetuating the weight loss!.

Don't overdo the exercise as being laid up with an injury will set you straight back to square one, and don't expect miracles; the only way to lose weight and keep it off is to change your lifestyle!. Quick fixes only work temporarily!.

eating healthy and moderate exercise!. Take your time rapid weight loss is not healthy!. Most Americans just eat too much and the wrong foods!.
I work in an office enviorment and stress is also a factor!. Realize that genetics play a factor and some people have different metabolisms!. You have to be diciplined!. I struggle with my weight!. For weight loss,distance combined with sprint,you may also want to try adding more water to you diet,and eating only 50% of what you normally would at meal time,you may also want to add some light resistance training!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Believe it or not - weight training!. Regular lifting burns more calories in the long run & builds muscle which in turn burns more calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
