Totally confused about food?!

Question: Totally confused about food!?
Ok im on a diet and exercise program to lose weight, going to the gym 5-6 days and changed my eating habbits!. The thing is everyone tells me different things!. One trainer said to eat low fat (under 20gr) per day, another said just count calories, someone else said eating avacados, nuts and healthy fats would make me gain weight!. Can someone please clarify without refering me to a webpage where eventually I have to bring out my credit card!. I have basically cut out all fast food and just eat healthy but I do love cashews and almonds and avocados!! Thanks Www@Answer-Health@Com

hi Vanessa!.

They do not contradict!. Reducing the amount of fats, means that you reduce your calories!.

I don't think you will gain weight if you eat healthy fats, except you eat too much of them!.

You are confused, because everyone tells you just peace of whole puzzle and you have to fit them together!.

I will tell you what my experience and knowledge showed me:
1) you have to reduce the fats, especially animal fats!.

2) also it is good idea to to reduce calories from carbohydrates, because if you take too much of them and do not burn them, they will be stored as fats!.

Try to reduce your normal carbo amount in half!.

3) increase the protein, especially low oily protein!. It will keep your muscles and help you absorb carbos and fats better!.

4) it is very important when you eat!. Sort your foods and take bad ones with breakfast and after training!.

I suggest you to buy yourself a fitness magazine!. There you will fing the best answer:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is confusing but what you have to remember is that the more you excercise the more you metabolize!. As long as you do excercise you can change your eating habits and have more of the healthy stuff and still lose weight !.

two things you need to watch are sugars and the timing of yur meals!. eat smal healthy snacks many times a day, so that you never get so hungry that you feel like easting a huge dinner!.!.

you want to coordinate your meals with your activities and keep a routine going!.eat most of your food before your activities

good breakfast first thing in the orning and healthy snacks every 2-3 hours and nothing in the last 2 hours before sleepWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well the avocados, almonds and not so much the cashews are good for you if you can afford them all the time!. I would stay away from counting so much and prefer to use my own brains to eat !. I will look at the contents of what I buy and if it has to much bad fat in it I put it back ,high fructose no good stay away from that and anything that has more than 27 grams sugar, eat lots of fiber because its good for digestion and stay away from pastas because theres lots of carbs !. CARBS cause fat unless you exercise so walk or jogWww@Answer-Health@Com
