First off, I've discovered through my own experiences and those of friends and family members, that THE WORST thing you could do is go on "a diet"!.

I lost 50lbs not that long ago by NOT going on a diet but by being more aware of what I was eating and what I was doing!. I used to be the type of person that would "forget" to eat or just wasnt hungry enough to eat!. Which is sabatoge for your metabolism!. By eating frequently you keep your metabolism up, by not eating your metabolism slows down to store what your body needs because your body doesnt know when it will get nourishment again!.

But by eating more frequently (WHATEVER I wanted but in small amounts) and staying active!.

What I did was make sure that I ate good breakfast every morning and a small snack in mid morning, a good lunch, a small snack for mid afternoon, a good dinner, and perhaps a small snack a little later!. I ate WHATEVER I wanted, but never ate to the point that I felt "stuffed" or full!. I just ate enough to make my feeling of being hungry to go away!. I also cut pop completely out of my diet and drank plenty of water!.

I turned my TV off and my music on; it kept me moving all day!. I've gotta tell ya, you could've ate off of my kitchen floor because what I did to keep myself active at home when I wasnt chasing my kids around was cleaning and then using my kitchen counters, my walls, my furniture to do push-ups off of and I did various other exercises when I got bored just because it kept me moving and gave me something to do!.

Also, telling myself that I was the only one that could do this and I had to do it for myself!. I've kept the weight off and still eat what I want when I want!.

I hope this helps and good luck to you!Www@Answer-Health@Com
