Hi, I do crosscountry right after school, thats around a 3-5 mile run every day monday-friday!. I want to lose my belly fat, because my legs look good, so I need to work out upperbody!. If I workout in my school's gym, bench press, weights, pull ups, will I eventually get that lean physic I want!? I'm 15!. I heard its bad to workout after you run too!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
When I ran CC in High School my coach encouraged us to work out (lift) after practice because at that point, your muscles are already tired and that will help because it'll be easier to get to the stage of exhaustion which is where real muscle gain occurs!. You probably shouldn't do the same things everyday, that's obviously not good for you, but also, you don't have to warm up if you just get done with CC practice!. But definitely afterward, gotta use the ice bath!. Between running and lifting, there'll be a ton of lactic acid in your muscles and that's damaging!. It's not bad to work out after a run, you just have to make sure you do it right!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
