14 years old and cant do push ups?!


Question: 14 years old and cant do push ups!?
I am overweight but I weigh less than people who are obviously thinner than me and the same height!? I attribute this to having low muscle!.
I cant do a real push up just the ones on my knees how can get to a point of doing real pushups!. (that is free!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

With pushups you have to be consistent with them!. By doing them everyday or every night, you build up the strength necessary to move your body weight!.

Do them privately for a while so you don't get embarassed!. Stay on your knees and if you can do (for example) 10 good ones on your knees, then only do 5 or 6!. Rest until your heart and breath are back to normal pace!. Then do another set of 5 or 6!. Rest again!. Then another 5 or 6!. Rest again!.

Now at this point, you have done at least 15 pushups where normally you would've done only 10!.!.!.an increase of 5!.

Here comes the challenging part!. For your 4th set you're gonna do 1 to 3 regular pushups!. If you can't get one then just get into the regular pushup position (in the up position) and hold it for as long as you can with good posture!.

Do this again at the same time tomorrow!. Ideally, you'll do this Mon-Fri and take the weekends off!.

As you get stronger, increase the number of reps until you are getting 3 sets of 20 reps in the knees down position!. Continue to increase the regular number of pushups as well and soon you will no longer be doing nothing but regular pushups!.
