Question: I'm 149lbs and 5'5", I look good, but I want to be toner and healthier!.!.!.!?
As I said before, I'm 149lbs and 5'5"!. I'm a size 9 and look good, but I want to be toner and healthier but I'm not sure how to do it safely!. A friend of mine cut her eating portions in half and exercises more than she used to!. This sounded healthy but I am worried about over doing it!. I want to know how much of what exercise to do and how much of what to eat to lose weight at a healthy rate!. My goal is to lose 25lbs or be in a size 5 again!. (I understand that muscle weighs more than fat) More importantly I just want to be healthy and active!. Please help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're overanalyzing this issue!.!.!. I'm an over-analyzer too!.

Start simple!.!.!.
Food: Cut back on fats and portion size!. Eat more vegg and fruits!.

For excercise, do what you enjoy!.!.!. do or build up to 30 minutes a day of brisk exercise!. Your heart should pump, but you don't have to be out of breath!.!.!.

However, as you get into it!.!.!. you'll find yourself pushing yourself more, such as, running, aerobics and using light weights!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Losing weight is about being at a calorie deficit, aim for a calorie deficit of no more than 500 a day any more than that and you risk slowing your metabolism

Keep your muscles active to ensure you lose as little muscle as possible!.

Also because spot reduction does not exist do chest centered weight training put some muscle behind the fat there so that when you do lose the 25lbs you minimize the drop in cup sizeWww@Answer-Health@Com

Well i would personally recommend just some basic moderate cardio !.!. this could include anything from going on a little jog to using the treadmill in a gym or if you have one at home thats perfect!.!. and one thing that i think that really helps with cardio is music!.!. if you have the right music you might be able to run for longer which means more fat burning!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you run a few times a week and do push ups and sit ups it will tone your body and give you a nice shape!.
