What are the benefits of eating 6 to 8 small meals a day?!


Question: What are the benefits of eating 6 to 8 small meals a day!?
is that the best way to start losing weight!? but why!? i usually only have special k for breakfast and a salad for lunch and thats pretty much it and i also drink lots of water!? but would it be better to have 6 small meals trhuout the day!? and what kinds of food i can eat!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Start off with a large healthy breakfast as you should consume most of your calories in the morning (so you can burn it off throughout the day)

Here is my old eating plan before my life got sucky and i don't have time to just sit at home and eat/cook!.

Breakfast :

2 scrambled/hard boiled eggs (i used egg beaters about 30 cals per 1/4 cup and 6 grams of protein hell yeah!)
2 pcs of turkey bacon
1 cup of cottage cheese with pineapple
1 large banana
12 oz water or 8 oz milk!?

Mid-Morning Snack:
Large Apple
Cup of nuts
12 oz water

Lunch:
Grilled chicken salad with as many veggies that you can stand! W/ light dressing
3 oz cheddar cheese
12 oz water

Afternoon Snack:
Cup of Celery and Peanut Butter!

Dinner:
8 oz chicken breast
1 cup of brown rice
1-2 cups of steamed veggies

After Dinner Snack :
rice cake or something a little tasty if needed

You see, that is a GOOD DIET!.

eating twice a day can turn your metabolism into a little snail :( making you actually gain weight! eek

The idea also helps keep your metabolism high, which allows you to burn more calories throughout the day, because your body is constantly working to process the food in the 6 to 8 meals!. In addition to trying to eat 6 to 8 meals a day you should also drink plenty of water!. Most would say that a gallon a day is adequate!. The water is used to flush the toxins and fats out of your body; without proper hydration this task is harder on the body!. What kind of foods you eat depends on your ultimate goal!. Are you trying to build muscle mass or just slim down!? It's a general rule of thumb that you should consume more proteins when you are trying to diet!. Also, cutting down on Trans fat is an important part of any diet!. Please remember that not all fats are bad for your body, especially Omega 3 and 6, which you can find is fish!. Hello, first I would like to acknowledge that yes I feel that is more healthy to eat 6 -8 times a day!. What happens is that your metabolism is constantly working throughout the day when you do this!. When your metabolism is working, your body is burning calories at the same time and less fats are stored in the body!. I have personally tried this and I lost 25 pounds in a month naturally!. I drank lots of water with the "small" healthy meals a day and walked 2 miles everyday as well!. I felt great! I was never hungry either and I had more energy than I had ever had before! I would variate between a piece of fruit or yogurt with a glass of water for bk, lunch I would variate between salad or fish and rice, dinner I would have whatever I desired just in small portions!. In between I usually ate a piece of string cheese or fruit! Just do it slow and healthy and you'll do great!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Compare your metabolism to a wood burning fire; feed it too much at once (big meal) and you will suffocare the fire (your metabolism will slow down)!. Starve the fire of wood and the fire will slow down (not eating often enough)!. If you constantly feed the fire with little blocks of wood then the fire will keep burning nicely!. you will not be starve and eat things that are not good for you!. Have 3 healthy meals and 3 healthy snacks like fruits, veggies, granola bars, smoothies, things like that!. THat's what I do and it was so much better than eat 2 or 3 big meals dailyWww@Answer-Health@Com

When you're hungry, you typically overeat which will cause weight issues!.
By eating several small meals you feel more satisfied!.
