Is this a bad work out routine?!
Question: Is this a bad work out routine!?
I pretty much do this 3-4x week!.
I begin my work out with a nice 45min cardio walk on the treadmill!. It's a pretty semi-aggressive walk as I usually try to maintain my heart rate right at 125-135bpm!.
Once complete I hit the weights!.
3x bench presses 120lbs
3x squats w/ 25lbs each hand
3x behind neck press 100lbs
Thats pretty much it!. My GOAL is to slim down!. I'm currently 5'9 and 170lbs!. I'm NOT looking to get crazy ripped but a lil definition wouldn't hurt!. I only want to slim down and lose the fat especially around my belly!.
Is what I'm doing now satisfactory!? I've been pretty much following this same routine for the past 4 months now!.
Thanks for your replies!.

That sounds ok!. There are a couple of changes I would make though!. Firstly I would use a heavier weight to squat and instead of behind the neck press I would do a standard shoulder press!. You might also consider using one more exercise for your back like bent over rows!. That way you'll be working your whole body!.

now when you say:
"3x bench presses 120lbs
3x squats w/ 25lbs each hand
3x behind neck press 100lbs"
do you mean that you do 3 sets or that you just lift them 3 times!.!.!.
I say 3 sets of 12 for each one!. Also I advise to NOT do squats the same day you jog/run!. You should also start doing curls!. Oh and only lift weights 3 times a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
