Both can cause weight gain!. Especially with certain people on antidepressants, weight gain is common due to their effect on serotonin!. I'm not sure, but it's depressing!. I started a birth control pill and the doctor told me that I would probably gain some weight, which upset me, but I didn't really have a choice!. (Medical problems with cramps) and I gained like 20 pounds in the first year of taking it!.
