Question: Why do some prescription medication cause weight gain!?
On a lot of prescription medication, it labels weight gain as a side effect!. How can a prescription drug cause a person to gain weight!? Do they slow the metabolism!? Cause increased appetite!?

I'm not sure, but it's depressing!. I started a birth control pill and the doctor told me that I would probably gain some weight, which upset me, but I didn't really have a choice!. (Medical problems with cramps) and I gained like 20 pounds in the first year of taking it!.
