Is it okay to fast once and a while?!


Question: Is it okay to fast once and a while!?
Bonjour!. So this week, I've eaten kind of crappily!. A lot of junk food and not healthy things!. :/ Well, Tomorrow, I just want to fast for the day, I'd drink water, tea, and maybe some juice!. Would this be okay to do every once a while!? I just want a clean slate!. And it would only be for one day!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It wouldn't hurt you physically but I wouldn't do it because the next day after you will be really hungry and maybe over eat again!. Plus your body will be in starvation mode, meaning your metabolism will slow down and when you start eating again it will want to store more calories from your food!. The best thing after a day of binging is to just eat healthy and do extra cardio in your work out if you want to get rid of the excess cals!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

no it not ok to fast if you dont eat you will get headachs and feel like you are going to pass out trust me I have done it try to eat 3 meals a day even if they are smal try tuna and salad for lunch have a yoghurt with fruit for breckyyy I never ate only coffee and smokes and got so fat then I relised i had to eat even if it only small healthy food and I take muilty vitamin I feel heaps better even sleeping better have more energy Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah!. Its okay for short periods of time ocassionally!. You may want to take a vitamin too if you do it for more than one day!. Just a suggestion!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
