Something other than pushups?!


Question: Something other than pushups!?
I don't like doing push ups, in fact i hate them!. Back in Feb i tore a tending in my arm so its finally just stopped hurting now, and i have no muscle left in my right arm!.!.!. anyway i could get arm strength back without doing push ups!? and i don't have dumbbells or weights or anything !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try small cans of chili or soup or something of the like!.!.!.people feel the need to start with something big, but that only ends up hurting your muscles!. Start with small cans and work your way up eventually!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think if you have no weights, maybe you should improvise!. How about instead of doing lateral raises with weights, why not use a big bottle of juice or cola!?
For your biceps, you could put some heavy stuff (e!.g) bricks into a bag and lift it!.
For your triceps, lift a bottle or brick behind your neck!.
For your lower arms, hands and wrists, you could squeeze a small ball repeatedly or something!.

Just remember, to avoid further injury, you MUST warm up, stretch and cool down in addition to your training!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get a piece of rubber tubing!. The kind they use for spear guns not the medical crap!. Then you can hold one end with one hand and do several exercises including presses and curls from many angles!.

Otherwise do simple isometrics!. Pushing and pulling on a fixed object like a door jam!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is that a question or a statement!? If you would like to know an alternate to doing push ups, then I would suggest you to try dumb bells or weight lifting!.!.!. Remember "NO OVER DOING"!.!.!. Less weight and more repetitions!.!.!. Once you gain your muscles back, then you could try push ups!.!.!. Push ups are really hard excercise, so you need strength to do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could try pushing on objects that cannot move for a period of time!. Like a wall or a tree!. seriously, this is a technique!. It is called isometrics!. I believe Bruce Lee believed in that techinque!. Here is the link I just found!.!.!.

try doing push-ups on your knees for a little!. Itll strengthen up your weak arm a bit!. the further your knees are from your hands the more resistance there will be!.


you can also try doing a less amount of them at a slower rate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can use things around the house!. Try filling a milk jug with water or using other jouice bottles with water!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

get some kettle bells!.!.!. those are like big chunky weights that can be used in a variety of ways to improve almost any muscle!.!.!.

stick your arms out by your sides level with your shoulders and do tiny little spins!. do like 100 forward spins and 100 backward spins!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
