Navy Boot Camp Preparation? ?!

Question: Navy Boot Camp Preparation!? !?
I'm leaving the 5th this December for RTC!. I'm male 5'8" 168 lbs!. Currently quite badly out of shape!. I definitely need to work on running as well as push-ups/curl-ups!. Currently I can run a mile in 10 minutes!. Do 10 push-ups, and only 20 curl-ups =( I know I'm really bad!. Do you guys think I have enough time left to get fit!?

I was told that they will test me within the first 3 days of arrival, which will require the minimum of (approximately) 12 mins for 1!.5 mile run, 50 push ups, and 60 curl ups!. Is this true!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

IT'S NOT TOO LATE!!! I know many active duty personnel that prepare a month before their PT test!. I do alternate sets of push ups and various crunches, resting a minute between each!. My first set of push ups is normal width, then wide, then diamonds!. For abs I do bicycles, normal, obliques!. You can try running sprints and working your way up to 1!.5 miles!.

I know some Marine Recruiters have their DEPers workout with them!. I don't know if any Navy Recruiters do that also!. Your recruiter is required to PT 3 times a week, you can always ask to join him or her!.

Good luck on working improving your physical fitness!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
