is that enough casien protein to last me and fat to slow it

If 24 ounces of milk is 3 cups, and a serving of almonds also, yes, that should keep you out of a catabolic state!. 3 cups of milk is 18 grams of casein protein, and the almonds will slow down the digestion of the casein protein!.
By 1 serving, if you mean 1 cup, that would be a good idea!. You usually want to aim for 20 grams of protein per meal, so, you can fill a 4th cup a quarter of the way to get a few more grams of casein protein!.
40 grams of carbohydrates isn't a very good idea before bed if you want to minimize fat!. I'm assuming that's from the milk!. When you have cottage cheese you can opt for that, don't worry about today, you don't want to lose muscle mass either!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Protein intake before bed is always better with a casein base protein!. It turns to a gel in the body and is released very slowly!. actually it's not that bad if you eat a little more than you usually do before bed as long as you go to bed an hour and a half after you eat: that way you could burn off all the calories before you go to bed!.
