Answers:
Yes there is such a thing to over stretch!.
I have learned that you should do stretching exercises such as lunges, squats with no weight, etc to get properly stretched before you lift!.
After you lift is when you should sit down and stretch and preform static stretching!.!.!.which is the basic form of stretching we all did in elementary pe!.
You are doing the right thing to get loose before you do heavy squats!.!. but do not over load the bar too quickly!. start at a weight you can do ten times!.!.!.(after you have already done squats lunges etc first) then work down in reps and more weight!.
Also riding a stationary bike is a good way to get loose!.
It is just not good to static stretch a cold muscleWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'd say it can be bad!. Stretching before lifting causes micro-tears in your muscles and will actually weaken your next lift!. If your gonna stretch, do muscles that you'll be working the next day!. Before your workouts, get warmed up on a bike or piece of cardio equipment and hold off on the stretching til your workout is over!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!.!.!.

Never ever stretch before exercises!. Always stretch afterwards!. Stretching a cold muscle can tear it!. Do leg swings or squats without any weight to warm up, or just walk for ten minutes or run on the spot!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
