What advice would you give me?!

Question: What advice would you give me!?
I've been exercising consistently all this year!. The first four months I was doing Shape Magazine's videos, it did not help with weight lost!. From May up till now I've been going to 24hourfitnesss and since then only lost about 6lbs!. The only way I know I can lose more weight is by exercising 1 hour a day 5 or more days a week cardio 3-4 days and resistance training 2-3 days!. Since I'm in school I don't have much time to put in 1 hour, I'm doing 30 minutes on work week days and plan on doing 3-4 hours on weekends!. What I think I have a problem with is diet!. I'm not sure how many calories I should eat!. Everytime I log my meals into MyPyramid it says everytime that I consume 1500 calories!. It also says I need to eat another 1000 calories and I have it set to "lead to a healthier weight"!. I'm 5'3 174lbs goal weight 125lbs so far this year lost 6lbs what meal plan or exercise routine would you recommend for me to lose 50lbs in 6 months!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It sounds like you're doing lots of things right!. I'm sure you've gained some muscle this year, meaning you've lost more than just six pounds of fat!.

I think you should try the following for a month and see how your weight responds: Cut out all "white foods" -- sugar, flour, pasta, rice, potatoes, etc!. These are all simple carbohydrates, which are unhealthy and wreak havoc with your blood sugar (making you feel hungry more quickly and more often)!. Eat the following (don't worry about counting calories): Vegetables, fruits, whole grains, lean protein, non-fat or low-fat dairy, and healthy fats (like olive oil)!. Drink water or tea; don't drink soda, fruit juices, or alcohol!. Don't eat fried foods!. I think you'll see some nice weight loss if you do this for a month!. If you don't lose weight, then count calories (while eating the same healthy foods)!.

The month is a test to see how your body will respond and how you will feel (I'll bet you'll feel healthier)!. After a month, you can relax your diet a bit if you want (add back some foods or drinks you really miss in moderation)!.

Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

one of my friends used to be really heavy!. and he went on the special k diet!. you eat it for breakfast and lunch and have a healthy dinner of whatever you want!. and you'll just have to do normal excercising, nothing insane like you're doing!. that sucks!. i hope i helped :)
