I did too, for the first couple of days!. The reason why is that your body is adjusting to not having easy sugar readily available to convert into energy, and your pancreas is accustomed to sending out insulin, when now it doesn't need to send out so much!. Your body is adjusting to the sugar levels that will become the norm for you after a few days!.

if you have always just eaten something that goes straight to sugar, your body is used to it!. Now it has to readjust!. It will, don't worry!.

If you continue to feel weak, you can do the diet's less strenuous phase, in which you can eat some low-sugar fruit, like apples and cantaloupe, and complex carbs, like whole brain bread!. If you are craving high-sugar foods, like white bread and French Fries and cookies, you just need to tough it out and let your body adjust to your changed eating habits!.

If it doesn't improve in a few days, you should consult your doctor about adjusting the diet to suit your needs!.

I don't know much about the South Beach Diet - but if it makes you feel odd and weak - it's because it's starving your body of vital fuels that it needs to function properly!.

Well, it works because it has low aomunts of calories and actually fill you up, but i don't think it has as much carbs as you need!. carbs are the things that makes you feel energuzed usually and if you don't have enough, it uses your store energy which is basically your fat then muscles!.
so basically you are dietin and it is working but due to the low amounts of carbs, you feel weak!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
