Question: Does partially hydrogenated mean it has trans fats!?
i know the hydrogenation process of any kind of fat and oil causes it to transmogrify and become harmful to you!.!.so how can sooo many foods claim to be zero trans fats if they contain hydrogenated substances!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes, the FDA doesn't require foods that have less than 1 gram of trans fats per serving to put it on the label!. So lets say you have 4 oreo cookies instead of the trans fat free serving size, you will get 1 gram of trans fat because usually the servings are about !.5 grams per serving!. So it can say trans fat free on the label even though it is not, you are smart to recognize the hidden fats in the ingredients and bravo for even reading the ingredients! That makes you in the minority of people!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
