When counting Calories, do Apples and Carrots really count?!

Question: When counting Calories, do Apples and Carrots really count!?
I mean if I have about a cup of carrots and 2 apples should I count their calories, or just as zero!.

There is this thing I've heard about "negative calorie" foods (carrots and apples) saying that the food takes more energy to digest than it really has in it!. Should I really be buying into this!?

Thanks for your Time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I tend to believe "negative calories" is a myth!. http://www!.drgourmet!.com/column/dr/05150!.!.!.

I generally don't count things like apples and carrots in my day because they are good for me and they are pretty low in calories!. They would make up a tiny % of my day's calories!. But, technically, they do count I guess!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You might want to keep a food diary!. I use Health Tracker at www!.prevention!.com!. It tells me how much fat, protein, carbs I ate for the day and how many calories I burned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
