This is because the muscles are recovering from your workout, and it means the workout was effective! You must be eating a lot of protein and carbohydrate after the workout so your muscles recover faster and more effectively!. Also stretch the muscles at the end of the workout to make sure the blood flows to them properly! Long hot showers and/or massages afterwards help too, as they increase the blood flow to the area!.
If they continue to hurt, make sure you stretch your arms regularly for a few days until recovery, and rest them otherwise!. Make sure they are fully recovered before you do your next workout else they won't grow as effectively!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well when I lift and get sore the next day i lightly massage and just rest!. You could also take a hot bath!. All in all you should look at soreness as a good thing that you had accomplished something during you workout!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
