Is this type of lifting bad for my growth?!


Question: Is this type of lifting bad for my growth!?
can legpress 600-700 lbs at age 14, but im cautious and it doesn't hurt my legs or knees while im doing it or after!.!.!.im a bit sore the next day from working my legs but not the wrong type of pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Leg press will not effect ur growth man!. Just remember do not lock r knees!. Never do this will not effect ur growth but seriously damage ur knees!. As long as ur not havinh knee pains ur fine man!. People always say lifting alot and squatting alot effects ur growth but the truth is running and jumping puts just as much stress on your bones as squatting twice your body weight!. Oh also leg press does not affect your growth cuz there is not a tremendous amount of weight being applied on your bones!. All the pressure is applied on your legs and as long as u don't lock ur knees u will be fine!. Good luck with lifting!. U have pretty strong legs for ur age which is good!. Majority of people ur age don't workout their legs!. They just bench!. Keep working out ur legs!. Having strong legs are essential for any sport!. I know people who can bench 300 pounds that play football and only squat their body weight and just suck at football!. Having strong legs will really help in high school sports!. Doing any strenuous exercise whilst you are still growing can affect your bones and in particular, the soft growth plates located at the end of each bone!. You could suffer from bone deformity now or from joint problems in later life such as arthritis!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no!.!.that's really good jus cuz u can lift alot it's not a bad thing it can hurt joints over time if ur going to heavy for u like 700lbs and can barely get it then dont do it but doit so u can do 8-10reps w/ itWww@Answer-Health@Com

you are only 14!.if you do such type of strenuous exercise it will be bad for the growth of your full!.you are still in growing stage now!.so don't do thisWww@Answer-Health@Com
