There is a correct and incorrect way of losing weight!. The incorrect way of losing weight DOES include muscle-loss!. The extreme loss of muscle strength is called "Atrophy"!.

The correct weight loss is one where they say fat "is converted to muscle"!. Of course, fat isn't actually being converted!. It's just that you're building muscle at the same time fat is being removed!. Because this procedure requires little to initiate inertia, they call it being "converted"!.

How much muscle weight is lost is determined by the length of time the incorrect weight loss takes place!. Muscle loss via bad weight loss techniques can be the result of prolonged non-exposure to physical activity combined with sedentary lifestyle!.
