Will my body go into starvation mode?!


Question: Will my body go into starvation mode!?
I am 6'2" 379 pounds!. For the past month, I've been eating 1500 calories a day, doing arm curls, leg presses, chest presses, and leg curls 3 days a week, and cardio 5 days a week!. So far I've lost 10 lbs!.

Can I keep this up or will my metabolism slow down because of the low calorie consumption!? Would it actually allow me to lose weight faster if I went up to 2000 a day!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No with 1500 calories your body won't go into starvation mode!.
You'll be fine!. If you want to up upir calories because your tired of eating little, then thats a different thing!.!.!. but at 1500 your body isn't at starvation mode and isn't conserving, so if you up to 2000, then thats just extra calories!.
Why leg curls 3 days a week!? Your lifting routine is a little!.!.!. wierd!.
Don't overtrain your muscles!. Vary your routines and work all parts of your body!.
Nothing for your back!? Nothing for your shoulders!? Nothing for your triceps!? That isn't good!.
Leaving out your traps is ok, but your back is a major muscle!. Triceps and Deltoids are important too!.

10lbs a month is a high rate!. It wouldn't be a bad idea to relax a bit so you don't overtrain!. But if your happy with the results then i guess you should keep going!.

You should increase your calorie intake because of all the strenuous exercises you're doing!. You are using up those 1500 calories real fast!. Eat some healthy veggies and fruits in between meals!. You won't go into starvation mode, that usually happens to an anorexic, but your body will require more calories to keep up with your exercises!. How much are you looking to loose!? Metabolism slows down naturally with age!. Exercise should keep it steady!. I think you're doing great!. Don't get discouraged if you only lost 10 lbs!. It's a fact that those who loose slowly, keep it off as opposed to those who go on crash diets and loose 15 Lbs a week!. Don't change your exercise regime, just take in a little more calories!. First of all congrats on your weight loss!
Your metabolism will only slow down if you stop eating constantly!. That's why a lot of healthy dieters eat around 6 times a day because it keeps their metabolism going thus burning more calories!. Weight loss = burning more than you consume!. If you consume more, the rate of weight loss would decrease!. If you are starving eat a little snack, like a fruit or crackers with cottage cheese, protein bar, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Starvation mode isn't really bad cause you also skip ur period but it does make it like impossible to lose weight!. There's this TV show that i love watching and it gives great weight loss tips all the time! There's also great weight loss tips on the website!.

You might go into starvation mode but when trying to lose weight don't starve yourself it's just wrong and if you watch this TV show you see this people who start out just like you and then come out of the show with like six packs!Www@Answer-Health@Com
