A few questions about fat, calories and weight loss.?!

Question: A few questions about fat, calories and weight loss!.!?
I know that fat gives calories, but are calories from fat worse than calories from other parts of the food that I eat!?

Is getting 2200 calories per day and the daily amount of fat per day ideal or is it a matter of the less you eat the better off you are!?

Is fat needed!?

I run up and down 16 flights of stairs a few times a day, do 100 situps every night and walk for at least an hour 5 times a week!. I eat 1-2 meals a day, consisting of roughly 1000-1500 calories, 5 grams of fat and 25 grams of protein!. Will I lose weight and keep my muscle at this rate!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I would venture to say you aren't taking in enough calories based upon your activity levels!. The best way to find out how many calories your body needs is to have a resting metabolic rate test done!. A lot of gyms offer the service for around $100!. Once you find this out, you can safely reduce your calorie need by 500 calories a day to achieve 1 lb a week weight loss!.

A fat calorie is still a calorie, but fat, protein, alcohol, and carbs have different calorie counts per gram!. 1gram carb contains 4kcal,1g protein 4kcal, 1 g fats 9kcal, and alcohol 7kcal!. So!.!.!.fat is more calorie dense, meaning that you can't eat as much fat as carb for the same calorie count!. But remember, carbs alone aren't very satisfying so you generally will end up overeating them if eaten alone!. You need a ratio of carbs/protein/fats to satisfy you and keep your body functioning!.

Fats are vital for your body to make/maintain a lot of processes so make sure to not avoid eating them!. Aim to have 10-30% or your calorie intake be fats, and focus on unsaturated vs saturated!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

At this rate no!!!

You need more fat in your diet and protein in your diet!. Your body can take up to 8000-8500 calories a day so you need more food in your system or you will lose fat but also muscle!. Also try to get a bit of iron in ya that will help your red blood cell countWww@Answer-Health@Com
