What exercises can i do to make me jump higher?!


Question: What exercises can i do to make me jump higher!?
ok im 8th grade (almost 14) 6'2 160 lbs and can touch the rim of the basketball goal!.!.!. i want to be able to dunk by 9th grade what exersise will help me be able to jump about 6 or more inches higher!?Www@Answer-Health@Com


Answers:
Do calf raises for about 6 weeks at 10 raises a session!. Make sure you do some calf stretching exercises after and then repeat the raises for 10 reps again followed by the stretches!.
Calf stretches are best done if you stand with the balls of your foot on a brick; piece of wood, whatever which is about 2 inches thick so you can dip your heels below the level of the wood to give a good stretch to the calf!.
After the 6 week workouts add weights by holding bricks, proper weights or whatever in each hand to add even more resistance to your raises!. The calves are a notoriously hard muscle group to make bigger but they are very responsive to meeting new loads!.
You can do these exercises as often in a day as you want but don't let the calves get too sore!.
After about 6 weeks try jsome jumping exercises holding some weights!. This will then work the explosive release of muscle energy needed for jumping!.
