im pretty confident about myself but im really self concious about my weight
i just went 2 the doctor 2day and found out i gained 8 pounds since my last visit! im really scared & angry wut shuld i do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

8 pounds is really nothing to fret about, unless of cause you were already weighing too much, or your last visit to your doctor was less than 4 weeks ago!.

What you should do is try to get an idea how much calories you take in on a daily basis!. I'm not telling yo to be counting calories, as this would be rather time consuming and inaccurate anyway, but make a good estimate!.

If your intake is above 2000 calories a day (this is what you will normally burn no matter what), you need to make a few adjustments, either to your diet, or the amount of exercise you get!.

If you want to lose weight all you need to do is to burn more calories than what you take in - it's as simple as that!.

To burn 1lb of excess body fat (lose weight), you need to burn 3500 calories above you intake, so a realistic target for losing weight would be 2lb a week!. Any diet offering more than that would most likely be unhealthy!.

You can get rid of your extra 8lbs in just 4 weeks - and more after that - just by making a few changes!.
