Question: A Good Way To Gain Weight And Turning Into Muscle, All Answers Welcome!! 19 Year Old Male!?
Well to start off, I'm 19 years old, 6 feet tall, I weight about 150 pounds and am pretty athletic!. I play a lot of sports, I run, and feel pretty good to do anything outdoors!. Like snowboarding, wakeboarding, hiking etc!.!.!. I have looked around and I am underweight!. I'm looking at gaining about 20 pounds atleast for muscle - not fat!. But I do go to the gym and exercise atleast 3 if not more times a week for a decent amount of time!.

Anyway, I'm stuck around my weight at 150!. What's a good way to put on weight and turn it into muscle!? I usually do cardio at the gym when I go and ab workouts!. I do lift sometimes but not as much as I should!.

But one thing I do which I'm sure affects it is this: When I eat, I eat a lot (meat usually) but only like two times a day!. I don't usually get breakfast because I work so early and I hold it out until I get home around 3!. So, I get around 3, then relax, do whatever I have to do and then eat one more time for dinner around 8!. I eat meat every single day (taco meat, cheeseburgers, etc!.!.!.) and I have a really fast metabolism!.

I heard it's good to eat more than that throughout the day so you won't starve your body!? I'm looking forward to all answers and helpful tips!.

What's some good stuff to eat, drink and all that!? And even though i usually only eat two medium (wouldn't say BIG meals) a day, I feel fine!. Like having enough energy to go do whatever I have to do and I'm not too hungry!. I can eat more for sure, but I also don't wanna get sick eating too much!.

What would you recommend!? Anything from a health store which I can have along with my meals and then have more energy to workout or what!? Thanks a lot everyone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Protein protein protein!!!

Honestly there is no way to gain weight and then "turn it into muscle" fat is fat and muscle is muscle!.

The best way to build lean muscle is protein and lifting!. Just remember protein can be found in many things (not just meat)!.

Another note: cardio does not build muscle!. It burns fat and builds endurance, but you need the lifting for muscle mass (short rep high wieght for bulk, high rep low weight for lean build)

Best thing for workout time (besides lots of water) make a fruit smoothie shake!. FRESH berries, no fat yogurt, ice, protien powder!. Good, fresh, filling, and healthy


(oh, and stay away from fast food! I see tacos and burgers!!! greese is not going to help you!. LEAN protien)Www@Answer-Health@Com
