Question: What exercise can i do to burn fat at home!?
Im a full time mum an have put on quite a bit of weight since becoming a mum!. I cant go running like i used to because i cant leave my little girl at home so what exercise can i do at home to burn fat!? I was told to do crunches and weights but there is no point doing them yet because i have a lot of fat on me that i need to burn and i don't want to be all muscley!. I put on a lot of weight after my second child!. With my first I used to put her in the pram and do a lot of walking!. We'd walk/jog to the park, she would play and then we'd walk/jog back!. Sometimes we'd go twice a day! It was harder with 2 kids!. I used to wait until they were in bed and run up and down my steep driveway - true story!. I had the baby monitor on and was close to the front door!. I also used to run on the spot in front of the TV, dance with my kids to music, jump on the trampoline!. You can get great exercise DVDs too!. You can also take your daughter swimming with you, if you keep moving it really helps burn the fat!.

Other options include getting a treadmill or stationary bike!.

It's worth doing some toning exercises, you won't end up overly muscly and having more muscle helps you burn more fat!. There are some ideas here: http://www!.abc-of-fitness!.com/info/fitne!.!.!.

When you wake up in the morning, before you eat any breakfast, just do a little dancing or jog on the spot NOT running - because your body has no food in it, it will use the fat on your body to keep you energized throughout your little workout - do this for atleast 30 mins in the morning and then slowly build it up to 60 mins!.

Try to cut out snacking - eat fruit instead OR almonds, nuts type things between meals!.

Don't cut out fat altogether - eat no more than 40g of fat daily!.

Whenever possible - try jogging on the spot for 15 mins throughout the day at least 6 times during the day - it's easy and it speeds up your metabolism, which is good for burning fat!.
