Answers:
Just drinking a glass of water along with the meal does not provide the same degree of satiety!. Research has shown that to reduce hunger and boost fullness, the water has to be in the food!. Why!? Because there are separate mechanisms in the brain to control hunger and thirst!. If the food you eat contains the water, it will stay in the stomach longer while the food is being digested!.
The following are all water-rich food choices with about 90% bound water-
# EAT MORE broth-based soups like chicken broth and vegetable broth!.
# EAT MORE leafy greens like lettuce, baby spinach and mixed salad greens with fat-free dressing!.
# EAT MORE fruits like apples, blueberries, cantaloupe, grapefruit, oranges, peaches, strawberries and watermelon!.
Fill Up on Fiber
Fiber contains only 1!.5 to 2!.5 calories per gram, while other carbohydrates contain 4 calories per gram!. Fiber-rich foods also necessitate more chewing and slow the passage of food through the digestive tract!. The fiber in carbohydrates helps prevent those peaks and valleys in blood sugar levels that can cause cravings and poor food choices!. They also may stimulate a satiety hormone in the brain!. Are you eating out of boredom, or eating because you're hungry!? They're 2 different problems!.

Did you know a lion only kills and feeds about once every 2 weeks!? That's because protein takes a long time to digest, so the lion just isn't hungry!. Try eating more protein for breakfast!.!.like 2 eggs, or egg whites!. You won't get hungry as quickly!.

Also, whole grains slow down digestion, so oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, beans, bran, and nuts may help fill you up!.

Now if you're eating because you're bored, then you need to replace eating with another activity!.!.!.go make some copies, take a short walk, file something, answer some questions!.!.but get your mind off food!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Avoid anything with too much sugar!. Sugar makes hunger come back quickly!.
Choose something with fiber, protein and some fats to help you feel full for longer!.
For example, some Whole Grain Bread with some All Natural Peanut Butter (I recommend Skippy, it tastes so good)!.
Also you could have the peanut butter with a granny smith apple!. That is a good treat as well!.
If you avoid anything sugar loaded you should be fine!.
Again, when looking to feel full, look for Protien Fat and Fiber!.
Please keep in mind HEART HEALTHY FAT!. When I say fat, I do not mean eat Mc Donalds!. The fat in Peanut Butter is very good for you!. Same goes for nuts!.
Also, some additional information is that FAT DOES NOT MAKE YOU FAT, and abundance of calories does!. You have no idea how many people are under that misconception!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
