Is being 15 stone and 5ft 11" to fat for a man?!

Question: Is being 15 stone and 5ft 11" to fat for a man!?
Answers:
You are a little overweight!.Check your BMI (body mass index) here http://www!.weight-loss-surgery-or-weight!.!.!.

Your BMI is what doctors use to determine if you are underweight, normal weight, or overweight!.

Your BMI is about 29!.7 which is in the overweight range!. Normal is anywhere from 18!.5 to 24!.9!. A stone equals 14 pounds!. And if you are athletic, then you have more muscle mass!. And muscle weighs more than fat, so that may be why your BMI is higher than you want!.

Hope this helps!.

It depends on body composition, are we talking about a 15 Stone fat guy or a 15 Stone bodybuilder!. There are no correct weights for any height!. You also have to take into account body composition, the relation of Muscle Mass to Fat Mass, i'm 5' 11" and weigh just short of 15 stone, thanks to regular gym work i'm not fat but if you calculate my BMI (Body Mass Index - the relation of height to weight) i'm classed as obese, so is Sylvester Stallone!

Just look at the guy and ask yourself "is he fat!?"Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would say this is verging on the overweight!. My husband is about the same height and until recently weighed 16st 3lb!. Since he heard the son in law of a neighbour had a heartache who was the same age as him and weighed only slightly more he has now done something about his diet and exercise regime and is down to less than 141/2 stone!. He wants to get to just below 14!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

According to the following site, which is a BMI (Body Mass Index) calculator, the man is considered to be overweight, with a BMI of 29!.3!.

Ideally, he should be below a BMI of 25!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's a little heavy, but I wouldn't say "too fat"!. Clearly not on the fit side of the fence, but 15st for a 5'11'' guy isn't obese!. He could probably stand to loose a few pounds, but unless he's putting on more weight, I wouldn't worry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lol,

how much does a stone weigh!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
