Question: Please help I would like to lose 40 lbs, anybody have ideas that worked well for them!?
I am 25 with 2 kids and kept extra weight on after each pregnancy!. My last one was born 9 months ago and I still have 13 lbs from this pregnancy!. I am a stay at home mom so going taking two kid to go out and exercise outside of the house is normally a real hassle!. Any programs that are good, or exercises that really work like yoga or pilates!? I really need to get back in shape and set a good, healthy example for my kids!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dramatically increase your intake of fruits and vegetables!.

I'm talking 8-10 servings per day!. Fruits and vegetables (when properly prepared) have low calorie content per volume!.

Green beans are 43 calories per cup!.
Watermelon is 45 calories per cup
Cantaloupe is 54 calories per cup!.
Squash is 28 calories per cup!.
Romaine lettuce is 8 calories per cup
Carrots are 54 calories per cup
Broccoli is 51 calories per cup
Bananas are 120 calories each
A large orange is 86 calories

All the fiber in the fruits and vegetables will help keep you regular, keep you full, you'll have tons of vitamins and minerals and your kids will want to eat what mommy eats!.

If you're filling your stomach with high fiber, low calorie natural foods (see above) there won't be much room to mess up with the wrong foods!. Personally I aim for 5 vegetables and 3 fruits each day, supplemented with low fat meats (chicken breast, turkey, lean cuts of steak, seafood) and some high fiber/high protein bars before/after working out!.

As for exercise, anything works, the key is doing it consistently!. I don't think it matters so much which program you choose, so long as it's one you like!. There are a ton of good "exercise without a gym" options, I'd start with

Pushups
Crunches
Squats
Lunges

Then do stuff with your kids!. Bench press your toddler!. Use your baby for twists (hold at arms length and twist your torso slowly from side to side)!. Pick up your toddler from the floor and lift all the way over your head, then back down!.

Legends speak of Milo of Croton, the strongest wrestler in the ancient olympics!. The story goes that he took a newborn calf and put it on his shoulders and carried it around!. Each day he did that, and his body slowly built up muscle (because the calf got bigger)!. Eventually the next olympics came around (4 years later) and he carried a fully grown cow into the stadium on his back!.

You can get this same effect with your kids, doing exercises with them as they're small (the lifts, twists, bench press, pushups while they're on your back, etc) and over the next couple years as they grow, your muscle will grow to match!.

I did weight watchers and ran on my treadmill for like 20 mins a day about two times a week and i lost 56 lbs in two months!.!.!. i shoulda kept on it but turned 21 and drank beer and gained it back, but it's super super easy!.!.!. u pretty much get to eat anything as long as it's within ur points!.!.!. i ate mcdonalds and a ton of baked lays and diet dew and ice cream!.!.!. i ate A LOT of chicken, but i lovelovelove chicken so that was great for me!.!.!. weight watchers is def something worth trying!.!.!. o and i NEVER went to the meeting, i actually just borrowed the book and stuff from my aunt (she had an extra) and did it all on my own!.!.!.!.
