I'm I warming up to much before bench press. ?!

Question: I'm I warming up to much before bench press!. !?
to night something happened that never happened before generally i warm up my rota tor cuff before jumping into bench press!. i do two warm-up sets before the 6-8 rep range weight of 290 pounds!. the first w up set is just the 45 pound bar for 15 reps and the second w up set is 135 pounds for 12 reps but after the second w up set my left tricep felt a bit more sore then usual which is weird!. i ignored it and went right into the first heavy set i got it up 5 in a half times and then i felt pain in my right tricep!. i think it is because i crunched up my shoulder blades during the warm ups!. The reason you are hurting yourself there Sparky, is that you are lifting too much weight trying to show off while using improper form!. I would recommend practicing lifting a LOT less, say 180 max, with the exact correct form!. Keep your shoulders down and back on the bench!. Do NOT lift those shoulders or you are going to hurt your rotator cuff!. Keep your legs tucked under the bench so you don't lift (and hurt) your lower back!. Lift a lot slower and if you are not lifting straight up and down (i!.e!. wobbling), then you are lifting too much weight and you are going to hurt your rotators or your triceps!. Someone knowledgeable at the gym can demonstrate all this!. Master the proper form and THEN move up in weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
