Help. I feel like i'm starving...?!


Question: Help!. I feel like i'm starving!.!.!.!?
Okay so I recently posted a question saying that all I eat is fast food!. every day!. 2 + times a day!. I get the burger, fries, soda!.!.!. And we do have snacks at home, just not too healthy!. (etc peanut butter bar) which is good for you, but has a lot of calories!.

Now I weigh 116!. 5 foot 5 and i'm 18!. I know that is a healthy weight!. But i'm afraid its gonna catch up to me!. So i've been dieting!. (1400 calories a day) and exercising!.

1400 is cutting it quite a bit for me, considering how many calories are in fast food meals!.
I ate soup, a 6inch subway sandwich, and a few of these nutritional bars today!. With only 500 calories left!. and all day i've felt like I am starving!. Even after I eat!. What should I do!?
I can't just eat because i'm hungry because it'll mess up my diet!.
But why am I starving!?

i know this sounds silly but diets are really not the best way to go about it and my dietitian told me that 90 percent of dieters put on weight in the end rather than lose it ,!. it does make Sense!. ok so i am presuming when you ate unhealthy you didn't think of food that much right!?!? but now its on you mind the whole time which leads to wanting it so badly you eat but this time you binge!. as it is you are skinny and i would suggest not calculating your calories eating when your hungry and eating things in moderation!. so don't limit yourself from things you like but eat the healthy things too!. as you are used to eating all junk i can guarantee you will lose weight!. but you don't need to and i would kill to be as skinny as you ,!. hope this helps and thanks for answering my question like 7 times hehe xxxWww@Answer-Health@Com

Save your money from fast food and buy some bananas you are at a healthy weight, but you're not healthy!. Bananas fill you up, have very few calories and are extremely good for you!.

You're eating such unhealthy food that you don't even have enough nutrients in your food to store fat! It's bad for your organs and your muscles!.

Eat when your hungry, just eat healthy food when you're hungry though!. It's as simple as that!. When you hungry you need food, so eat!Www@Answer-Health@Com

STOP EATING FAST FOOD SILLY! there's so much more food you could eat for the same amount of calories!.

also if you wanna keep weight off, eat healthy and exercise!.!.!.join a gym!.!. go running etc!.

but seriously!. cut the junk!. and learn more about nutrition!. PB is not that good for you!.!. a lot of fat and sodium!. and if theres no good food in your house maybe you should offer to shop and get healthy stuff

You shouldn't restrict your diet so much, that is why you are starving!. When you restrict your diet so much it can lead to unhealthy binging which is not good for you!. Also when you restrict your diet your metabolism gets slower meaning that if in the future you ever want to eat more then you are right now you will gain a lot of weight!. You should definitely do research before going on a major diet or even get an appointment with a nutritionist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I see no dinner!.
Just a lunch!.

Those nutritional bars tend to be pure **** for you because they're normally loaded with sugar!. =/
&they're very small portions!.

Eat MORE food!.

As a note, you should probably try to maintain your weight!.
So eat around 1600-1700 calories at least!.
116 is pretty small!. 111 lbs is the least you should weigh!.

EDIT: Stop eating those stupid Special K bars!.
I don't see how or why those things are considered nutritional!.

well first of all you may still be growing, which would mean you really need energy!. also, depending on that time of the month, your appetite fluctuates!. another fector to consider is your daily exercise and work load, some people who do a lot need a lot of food to sustain their bodies!. then you nee to consider you health, are you diabetic!? anaemic!? anything!? it'd be very important to eat plenty of your not at your best health anyway!

i noticed you seem to think that just because something has a high calorie content like fast food would mean it's more filling!. i find fast food underfilling!! maybe you have convinced yourself that since you eat less calories that you're not eating good food, and as a result you're craving the fast food!?

try eating potatoes, beans, rice, and lots of protien like chicken!.!. this should fill you up!. it'd be more important, especially at your age, to eat lots of healthy food and ignore calorie content, that counting calories and eating crap that's never going to satisfy your hunger!. try gt a hold a fresh veg and fruit and allow yourself time to adapt to the new eating pattern!. oh and don't be too strict on yourself, allow treats from time to time!. if you still feel scared of gaining weight or being unhealthy, then you should turn to exercise!. not only will that help you maintain a nice figure, but it will also increase you metabolism, enhance your mood, it's good for your skin, helps you concentrate better in school, etc!!

best of luck with it all, and don't diet, esp so young, you're only confusing your body and making yourself psychologically stressed about food which nearly always has a very bad outcome!.

That's a huge reduction in calories compared to your normal fast food diet, so that's probably why you are so hungry!.

I would suggest going up to at least 1600 calories!. If not, then be sure to eat more fiber!. It fills you up, and is great for digestive health!.

You may not be used to these fiber-rich oods, but give them a try!. They will stay with you longer through the day and keep you full:

oatmeal
granola bars or cereal
whole wheat toast
spinach, broccoli, green beans
homemade smoothies with strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries (add 2 tablespoons of dry oatmeal to thicken the drink, plus fill you up!. Don't worry, it blends well, and you won't be able to taste it!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll get used to it, I would say to eat a little more than that, some doctors say that "grazing" is the healthiest way to eat, that means eating tiny bits of things all day long!. I always feel hungry too and am currently trying to remain small, so this might sound dumb, but when I feel like I am starving, I go and eat a small chunk of cheese and then follow it with a small peice of chocolate (this is probably 90 calories at the most) the combination of the two mixing in my belly always kind of makes me feel well, not full but not like eating again for a little while, I won't feel hungry after that, maybe the slightest bit sick, but nothing serious!. I drink coffee during the day so I won't eat too much, but that's not very healthy, plus, once it wears off I am RAVENOUS, like I feel like I would die if I don't eat!. Here, just eat every time you are hungry, but NOT when you are bored(which I have been known too do) and try to drink a lot of water with each meal, that will fill you up more!. Sorry these were werid, it's just what I do!. And you can enjoy some of the junk you used to like!. I like to reward myself, like if I stick to my diet all week, I can have cake at the end, a whole month and I can eat a double cheeseburger ONCE a month!. They say it is better to do things like that because it will make you less likely to "fall off the wagon" And you can eat peanut butter bars! If you can find Kudos bars at the store, I eat those all the time, they are only 90-100 calories, they are kinda small, but they have good flavors, like M&M, Snickers, and peanut butter, also, Handi Snaks pudding is great, low calorie(90 cal per pack) and that is really good!. But seriously, as odd as it sounds, the chocolate and cheese thing works well for me!. I don't think you need to lose weight at all, but if you really think you would feel better, go for it I guess, but you are already skinny!!! Good luck with whatever you do!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like you were probably eating a lot more calories than 1400, and that's why you are hungry!. You are a perfect weight for your height!. Why don't you just try not worrying about calories and eat healthy!? If you see the lbs!. coming then start counting calories!. I know a lot of fast food places have salads and alternatives to
burger and fries!. I like Wendy's chicken salads!. You need protein, healthy carbs, and a lot more fruits and vegetables in your diet!. You need more quantity and quality!. Nutrition bars are small and not that filling!. I love fresh fruit, it's filling and tastes great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
