I'm not sure what you mean by "Change the weight you lift plus 5 every week"!. The best way to gain muscle is by using the heaviest weight that you can handle for low reps of 4 - 6!. Do 3 or 4 sets like these in the basic exercises of Bench Press, Squat, Dead Lift, and Barbell Curl!.
