Am I doing the right thing with my walking and weight loss?!


Question: Am I doing the right thing with my walking and weight loss!?
A year ago I started walking and built up to 90 minutes a day!.

I cut back on what I ate and drank tons of water!. I went from 265 to I think 249!. I then felt like I lost a good amount of weight and I feel that I look better even though i'm still chubby!. I then started walking 60 minutes on some days and 30 minutes on other days!. I started drinking soda again and pigging out on junk food!. Somedays I would walk only 15-20 minutes!. Its been about 3 months since ive been doing this and physically I dont notice me gaining any weight!. I hadnt weighed myself in months and about 3 weeks ago I weighed myself and it said 255!. I'm guessing this is probably just water weight!? Its only a 5 pound gain in months!. Its probably also muscle I built from walking in my legs!?

I feel smaller!. Its like I still feel like i'm losing weight slowly even walking 30 minutes a day!. I eat maybe 1200-1500 calories on somedays and other days I might explode on pizza and eat maybe 3000 calories LOL! I still havent gained a pound though! Its weird!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First off, I want to say congrats!! It's very hard work to lose weight!! You're doing great! But it sounds like now, you're only burning off what you take in, and no more!. You may want to start walking a little longer, and possibly running a bit!. Running is the best exercise you could ever do for yourself!. Even if it's only a block or two, you will eventually be able to go farther and farther!. Good luck, and sounds like you're on the right track!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are doing Fantastic!.water weight will be 5 lbs for sure :)
Take the soda and fruit juices out of your menu as they are filled with Sugar ,if you cant then grab ONLY Diet soda Trust me it does the trick and who needs empty calories!.

well if youre happy with how much you weight still continue walking and eat healthy you'll feel better and live longer, don't be concerned about eating 3000calories once a week, that may in fact speed up your metabolism because your body gets used to eating a certain caloric intake and need a kick start every once in a whileWww@Answer-Health@Com

The way your going you will gain it all back!.!.!.little by little!.!.!.Best thing is go on a High Protein, and less Carbs!.!.!.!.and work out!.!.walking everyday will just bore you!.!.!.you need to sometimes change that routine!.!.!.maybe add Pilate's every other day!.!.!.you need to lose and get down, or you can get high blood pressure, etc!.!.!.good luck!.!.the pizzas are a no no!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think that when your body gets used to something then you have to do more to get results!. your calorie intake sounds good!. probably have to add more exercise!. i read the book "skinny *****" and it really changed how i eat!. congrats on your healthy weight loss!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should incorporate maybe 20 crunches after your walks, and that'll really burn fat, because of your cardio!.

I mean, it's not that big of a difference for you, but it will be for your scale :D

O!.K!. you're doing a good job, believe it or not!. Continue your walks but try making them ALL 90 minutes long!. Once you feel it to easy try going at a faster pace!. Your nutrition is unbalanced!. Pizza isn't that bad actually since it has cheese, tomatoes, and bread!. You should eat frequently every 3 hours to keep up your metabolism!. Drink NOTHING but water and you'll lose a lot of weight in no time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
