Question: Help with weight loss routine! !?
Can anyone give me a weight loss routine that's sure to work in a timely manner and that I can do 7 days a week!? I entered a contest for changing the body composition and the winner gets alot!.

I have access to a full gym!. No pool!.
My body is 44-42-47 (looks crazy in writiing) I weight 229Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, it is unhealthy to exercise 7 days a week!. Your body needs a chance to rest and rejuvinate itself, so try doing a schedule of 3 days working out, 2 days resting and then 3 days exercise, etc!. You will need to manage your caloric intake!. It is suggested that 1200 calories per day should be your target intake and you should drink plenty of water (at least 6 glasses a day but preferably 8)!. Avoid soda, alcohol and energy drinks that contain a lot of sugar!. For your work out routine, you will want to couple cardio training with light weight lifting, which will help tone your muscles!. You're not trying to be a body builder, so make sure you're using weights that are challenging but not too hard!. Whenever possible, try participating in the group classes at the gym, whether it be kick boxing, a step class, spinning or a hip/hop cardio class!. This will make your workout fun and change up your routine so you stay interested and don't get bored!. Before you start, set a "target" weight for yourself so you have a goal that you can focus on reaching!. Here's an example of a weekly schedule:

Day 1- Cardio Rotation (tread-mill, stair climber, bicycle) 20 minutes each (or 60 minutes total)
Abs (crunches, sit-ups)
Legs/Butt (squats, strengthening machines)
Day 2- Cardio Rotation
Back/Arms (use the resistance machines)
Day 3- Take a Group Class for 60 minutes in place of your Cardio Rotation
Resistance Training (whole body)
Day 4- Rest
Day 5- Rest
Day 6- Begin again

Always remember to stretch before and after all workouts!. After a few weeks, you will need to increase your cardio routine (preferably in 15 minute intervals) and the number of reps you do during your strength training!. Eat smart, avoid "diet" pills or drinks and don't over-exert yourself or you will lose time exercising because you will need to let your body heal!. Good luck!

Drink two tumblers of water on rising from the bed, and in a day drink at least three litres of it!.

One third of your food should be salad!. It fills the stomach and gives less calories of energy!.

Avoid potatoes, nuts, cream, ghee, sweets, fried food, and dairy products!.

Take regular exercise sufficiently, so as to burn more calories of energy, than its intake!.

Go for brisk walk, jogging or running!.

Eat slightly less than your requirement!.

Use skimmed milk instead of full cream milk!.

Use yoghurt instead of cream or curd!.

The order of preference of food is (1) steamed, (2) boiled, (3) baked, (4) roasted, (5) grilled, and (6) fried!.

There's no quick and easy way!. If there was, everybody would know about it and use it, and the inventor would be rich!.

Avoid fasts, fad diets, crash diets, diet pills, internet bargains and the like!. They won't help you, and could very well hurt you!.

Weight loss is achieved when you burn more calories than you consume!.!.!. so if you eat less and sit around, you won't lose weight!.

You need a combination of healthy diet and reasonable exercise to stay in shape!.

And there's no such thing as "permanently" You can always gain weight back by tilting the equation the other way!. If you want to keep weight off, you need to keep eating healthy and exercising!.

High protein, low fat, minimal good carbohydrates, and sugar-free liquids to keep you from getting dehydrated!.

Low carbohydrate diets seem to work!. Avoid all sugar and white starches like flour, rice and potatoes!.

Try starting a weightlifting regimen!. They are fast and very effective!. Try a 3 day per week routine and alternate it with a 3 day per week cardio routine!. You need to rest, so make sure you have one day of rest and easy activity!.
