Question: Hello!.!.!. I'm 5'11 278!.!.!.!?
I want to know how much calories, fat, and fiber should i eat daily!. I been drink more than 8 glasses of water!.!.!. and i been eating salad and etc!.!.!. but i don't want my body to go in starve mode because i don't eat enough food!. I'm trying to lose weight!.!. I started working out an hour each day!. I'm keep a food journal which is very hard!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're right about the "save mode" and the water is good!. And you're staring a regimen to lose weight, which is even better!. Keep at it!.

There's no quick and easy way!. If there was, everybody would know about it and use it, and the inventor would be rich!.

Avoid fasts, fad diets, crash diets, diet pills, internet bargains and the like!. They won't help you, and could very well hurt you!.

Weight loss is achieved when you burn more calories than you consume!.!.!. so if you eat less and sit around, you won't lose weight!.

You need a combination of healthy diet and reasonable exercise to stay in shape!.

And there's no such thing as "permanently" You can always gain weight back by tilting the equation the other way!. If you want to keep weight off, you need to keep eating healthy and exercising!.

High protein, low fat, minimal good carbohydrates, and sugar-free liquids to keep you from getting dehydrated!.

Slow down!. When you do sit down to a meal, don't wolf it down!. Our culture encourages eating while driving or sitting at our desks!. The only time we seem to sit down and enjoy our food is at Thanksgiving!. The monks chew each bite of food 100 times (which is excessive), but they also eat only until they are full!. They recognize that chewing their food more makes it easier for the body to digest!.

Breathe!. There are so many days that I don't breathe deeply!. In the morning, mid-afternoon, and at the end of the day take a 10 conscious, belly-deep breaths!. Close your eyes, pull that air deep into your stomach via your nose and let all the junk out through your mouth!. Whether its a stressful day, or you just want to start and end your day on the right foot, breathing is important!.

Don't starve yourself!. Oddly enough some of you may not be eating enough, and the lack of calories is putting your body into save mode!. Our bodies are so brilliant, and if they aren't getting enough food, your metabolism will tell your body to store each and every calorie it receives or to make energy from whatever muscle tissue you have!. Not good!. Oh and by the way, don't skip breakfast!. People who skip breakfast are over 4 times more likely to be overweight!.

Do more than exercise!. Even if you are working out, you can't eat and drink whatever you want!. It really is a three sided puzzle: balancing exercise, food, and (oh yes) the spirit (which stress and happiness play into)!.

to do it naturaly and healthy stick with what your doing!. here's a few tips that were helpful for me!.!.!.

instead of 3 main meals in the day split it up into 5!. eating more often speeds up the matabalism!. you also won't feel as hungry all the time!. But don't use it as an excuse to over eat!.

the meals should be small and healthy!. have the salad you were talking about with some grilled chicken or salmon on top!. have almonds and mixed raw veggies as "meals" 2 and 4!. have an egg and peice of fruit for breakfast (i make 3 scrabled eggs so my husband and i each get 1!.5, i find thats a good amount for us) and have a low fat grilled meat with a small side for dinner!. (budget friendly ways!.!.!. make a chicken for dinner and cut up leftovers for your lunch the next day or a steak and have fajitas for the next nights dinner etc)

that way the calories your taking in sustain you throughout the day and the colories your working off excersising are excess ones you don't want!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!. Walk on a slight incline

This can be done on a hill or better yet, on a treadmill that inclines!. The incline only needs to be slight!. Even though it's not much, it makes a HUGE difference in weight loss results for people!.

Trust me, if you've never consistently walked on an incline, you're in for a treat!. It's nothing like plain walking!. Incline a treadmill 15 degrees and walk on it for at least 20 minutes a day!.

You have an adjusted BMR of around 3000, I think, so eating only 2000 calories a day will result in a loss of two pounds per week!. Lot of fiber, and don't be afraid of eating some fatty foods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
