great way to tone up your core besides sit-ups would be the plank!. You are like in a 'real' push up, but your forearms are on the floor instead of your hands!. only your forearms and toes can touch the floor!. Suck in your stomach and hold it for a minute!. You may have trouble holding it for that long at first, so you may want to build up stamina by doing 10 second increments first working your way up!. It really is great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Seeing as you can't target your fat loss your going to have to lose fat all over until your stomach is slim!.

Being able to do a million sit ups, or crunches with over 9000 pounds isn't going to result in defined abs if you have too much fat covering them!.

You have to get within 5 to 3% of your essential body fat percentage for your gender and have developed muscles for them to be defined
