Question: Can I Still Eat Halloween Candy Even Though Im Trying To Loose Weight!?
Hello everyone! Happy Halloween! :) !. As you all know, Halloween is about a week away!
And I want to go trick or treating but I was wondering !.!.!. can I have candy even though Im trying to loose weight! So far Ive lost almost 30 pounds! Anyways, I have a question:
- If I eat one piece of candy a week, will I gain weight!?

haha I am in 7th grade also and I have the same worries! I have been on a diet also and I am just going to use halloween as a break day and eat whatever I want! It only comes once a year and you shouldn't be too hard on yourself!! give yourself a break! you lost 30 lbs! thats a huge number! I think you should eat whatever you want on halloween and then keep the candy for a few more days- then give it away! you can't eat it if its all gone! Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends on what kind of candy it is!. if its a candy bar that is say the fun size it wont affect you as much as the bigger size ones!. but one piece of candy wont hurt if its within a week!. because you can always exercise!. so it all depends on the type of candy!. but one piece a week isn't totally bad because you have time to excersize which will let you lose the pounds you gained!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

But if you just want the savory sweet taste in your mouth you could but not a huge amount!.

Go ahead, eat the candy!. Just don't grab a handful of fun size Hershey bars and eat all of them in one sitting!. Have one a day!.

The body can only metabolize a certain amount of sugar during the day!. You can find out from your doctor how much someone your size and age can metabolize from each meal!. For adults it's 60 grams of carbohydrates per meal!. Or four slices of plain bread!.

The weight gain is caused by the body not being able to burn off the sugars!. Your age is in your favor too!. Here's what's interesting, you could eat one candy bar per meal, as long as it's within the limits of the carbs you are allowed!. You will still lose weight at your present activity!.

But eat three candy bars at once, and you've just dumped a whole day's worth of carbs into your system!. Your body will not be able to burn that off anytime soon, to it stores the extra carbs as fat!. You would have to add another hour or two to your workout routine!.
